Simple.
The patent pending SnowClear™ System consists of three components:
1. An Energy Management System with integrated GFI protection. The EMS automatically switches power "On" and "Off" or, cycles the power through a series of heating zones.
2. Sensors, A time-tested, cost effective aerial sensor, or an optional in-pavement sensor constantly monitor the weather and report back to the EMS.
3. SnowClear Panels. Heating panels made to fit the pavement ensure even heating of the pavement, All Panels are covered by a 10 year warranty and are available with a power output of 30, 40 or 50 watts per square foot. Warrantied for 10 years, these panels arrive at the jobsite ready to be unrolled on the pavement base layer. Installation takes minutes, not hours.

When snow or ice begins to fall, embedded heated cables automatically warm the pavement and melt away the snow and ice, leaving the surfaces completely clear and dry. The SnowClear ™ System couples breakthrough controller technology with time tested heating cable to bring snow melting into the 21st century.
- easy to install, sized to fit, SnowClear™ heating panels
- an electronic energy management system
- a sensor to turn the system on and off automatically.
Why melt snow and ice?
Besides the obvious safety benefits of clean and dry pavement, a SnowClear™ System lengthens the lifespan of pavement by reducing the number of freeze/thaw cycles to which it is exposed while protecting the beauty and integrity of the surrounding landscape.
A SnowClear™ System can reduce the total cost of ownership by up to 50% versus other snow and ice melting technologies.
